If you've ever felt out of control with your eating, have noticed a desire to binge or overeat at night after a day of restricting, are preoccupied with food, feel shame around your body, or don't know how or what you should be eating, you're in the right place.
When we shift our view of health from a place of obsession around food to freedom around food, we are able to move to a place of peace. Imagine being able to go out to dinner with your family and not have to worry about the calories on the menu or the way the food was prepared....
With over 20 years of experience working as a dietitian (most of which was spent at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center) and my own personal journey with food, I understand what you're going through. And through a non-diet, weight inclusive approach to health, I'm here to support you with food freedom!
Each of us has the ability to make choices about food and movement from a place of self-care using our own internal cues rather than from a place of self-control, which focuses on external cues and leads to body distrust. I know from years of experience that relationships with food and body are complicated. My goal is to help you untangle your relationship with food and your body and to rebuild trust in your body.
both mental and physical
from a place of satisfaction, pleasure, and self-care instead of fear, guilt, shame and self-control
